Quinoa, for breakfast

A bowl of cooked quinoa, with tangerines, apples and walnuts for breakfast.This is the simplest of breakfasts. And healthy too. Nothing but cooked Quinoa, tangerines, walnuts usually. This morning I added a chopped apple too. Nothing more. No butter. No sugar. Cook the quinoa until tender. Seed a tangerines or two. Toast some walnuts in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees F, then chop them up. Add all items to quinoa and serve. You can, if you wish, add butter and sugar, but there really is no need.

Quinoa is my favorite!! I am always looking for yummy ways to eat it… But, us has always beena side. I never even thought about it for breakfast!! Yummy!
