Why Headway? Well, when I chose to move to my own domain, I also chose to use Wordpress as my platform for this website. After tinkering with several themes and finding I had to accept the status quo I decided to look at premium themes.

What’s a premium theme? It’s a theme you pay for so your blog won’t look like all the others. I read a tweet on Twitter by Danny Brown. I was intrigued. He was surprisingly candid about a new theme he had just purchased and actually did everything it was promising it could do. Drag and drop design! Very little, if any, CSS knowledge was needed to make a site look customized to suit your needs. After hearing from Danny through an email, I was convinced to give Headway theme a try. And wow did it deliver!

As you can see, when you go through my pages, each page is a bit different. Each has unique qualities that I plugged in, played with and now call my own. Most of it was done without CSS. There is a bit of CSS coding – using the forums – all I did was say something like “how do I get the font to change on a leaf – (Headway’s name for custom boxes)” and one of the Headway developers gave me the code I needed. The code works, and I’m happy!

Grant and Clay Griffiths understand that some of us are creative and don’t necessarily need to know how something works, and that some people love coding and enjoy being code warriors. They’ve brought those two communities together to create the easiest Wordpress premium theme available today. Thank you Headway guys and forums!

Click on the logo and purchase a copy for yourself and leave the coding to them. You can drag and drop the components to fit your creative needs.
